The world cup is starting on Friday. I am a diehard soccer fan and wait for this event every 4 years. You can check out the official world cup site at (http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/index.html). I have set time aside for the US games and most of the finals. Also, the BBC will… I had some server errors with my blog and have not been able to post in a while. One of the things I done recently is run in the 5/3rd river bank run. I decided to run with some guys from work. They are avid runners and have much better… I have had a yahoo email account for as long as I can remember. I think it was around 95 or so when I first got my account. I got it because our college email system would not work outside of the classroom. So I figured a web based email… After verifying that my DSL connection was worth the savings of $27.01 per month, I decided to call comcast and cancel my cable modem. Here is a recount of my call. First, after all my years using comcast this was the fastest I ever got a person on the line… I made the switch from Cable to DSL. As a diehard Cable modem user for years, I think I had my current cable modem installed in 1999 with @home. From Excite @home it went to ATT&T and now Comcast.
